Spirituality Group Starts New Book July 19
Welcoming Newcomers!
The South Church Spirituality Group, led by Dorothy Muller and Donna Thompson, is starting a new book on July 19: Cynthia Bourgeault’s “The Meaning of Mary Magdalene: Discovering the Woman at the Heart of Christianity,” which contains a radical rewriting of everything you thought you knew about Mary Magdalene and male-centered Christianity (and celibacy!).
The group meets on Zoom on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Each session includes contemplative practices as well as discussion. If you hesitated to join the group while we were in the middle of a book, now is the time!
